PETERSHAM -- Luella Maude (Bean) Robinson, 79, of Arlington, TX, formerly of Petersham, died Saturday, March 19, 2005, in the Arlington Memorial Hospital, Arlington, TX.
She was born in Peacham, VT, on Aug. 2, 1925, the daughter of the late Venan and the late Mary (Dutton) Bean.
She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, David A. Robinson, who died in 1989 and by two brothers, Venan H. Bean, Jr. and Robert M. Bean.
She leaves six children, Larry A. Robinson and his wife Nancy of Petersham, Linda Raulston and her husband Richard of Carrollton, TX, Janet St. Hilaire of Keller, TX, Brian Robinson and his wife LaQuintha of Arlington, TX, Charlene McCormick and her husband Geary of Farmers Branch, TX, David Lee Robinson of Dallas, TX; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Robinson was Treasurer at the Unitarian Church of Petersham, she was an election worker for the Town of Petersham, a Charter Member of the Petersham Unit 415 American Legion Auxiliary, a member of the Petersham Branch Alliance, and a member of the Petersham Senior Citizen Group. She worked at the Petersham Country Store for several years.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 24, at 10 a.m. in the Petersham Orthodox Congregational Church, Route 32.
Burial will follow in West Road Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 23 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 pm at Fiske Funeral Home, 1356 Main St., Athol.
