THE CHARITON LEADER
Chariton, Iowa
Tuesday, August 29, 1967

PATON - Lulu G. Paton, born June 15, 1878 in Moberly, Mo., was called to peace and rest by her Lord and God, in her home on August 4, 1967. She was 89 years of age.

On October 29, 1901, she was united in marriage to Peter T. Paton. She was a faithful and loyal member of the First United Presbyterian church of Winterset and found much joy in the fellowship of her afternoon clubs. She showed concern and interest in all of life.

The first part of her life was spent in Chariton. Since August of 1933 Winterset has been her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, Paul T. and Gerald.

She leaves to mourn her passing one daughter, Martha; two sons, Ralph of Alexandria, Va., and Richard of Des Moines; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and many friends she has made along the road of life.
