AMERICAN REVOLUTIONARY WAR. Joined Army at age of 18. Fought at Battles of Camden, Briar Creek, and Eutaw Speings. Served 3 enlistments, mustered out 1782. At age 75 years he volunteered in 1835. Stephen Williams was w/four Grandsons at SIEGE OF BEXAR. This hero was removed from family Williams Cemetery, Jasper, TX and reinterred at Texas State Cemetery during Centennial Celebration, Austin, Travis Co, Texas.
