Charlie was born to Patrick and Florence Barry of Antelope, Texas on March 29,1925. He was a graduate of Antelope High School. He moved to Abilene, Texas in 1961 from Wichita Falls, Texas. He served his country during World War II and was a veteran of the Navy.
