Charles Alton Cambron, 55, died Monday afternoon following a tractor accident. Born Aug. 31, 1910, at Grant County, Okla., he had been a resident of Garden City seven years. He married Juanita Pauline Belden Sept. 12, 1936, at Sedan. He was manager of the Danford Construction Company of Garden City for the past 10 years. Veteran of WWII, U.S. Army. Member of Baptist Church, Wakita, Okla. Survivors: The widow, of the home; sons, Dean, Duane, and Paul, all of Garden City; daughter, Mrs. Lanny Pauley, Yuma, Ariz.; father, Francis, Wakita, Okla.; brother, R.W., Wakita; sisters, Mrs. Marie Rapp, Wakita, Mrs. Lucille Ransom, Wichita; eight grandchildren.
