Mrs. Teeters was a member of the Church of God, the owner-operator of Mode-O-Day Dress Shop in Yucaipa until approximately 1976. She also owned Southard Motors.
Survived by her husband, Fred Teeters of Yucaipa; sons, Leon Southard of Redlands, Charles Southard of Visalia; daughter, Ruth Warden of Landis, NC; 15 grandchildren; brother, John Alred of Hobart, OK; sisters, Enna Southard of Fullerton, Wilma Dalke of Glen Avon, Onie Blackwood of Oklahoma City, OK, Eleen Harrison of Stenette, TX, Billie Ruth Tolland of Phoenix, AZ; stepsons, Darrel Teeters and Gary Teeters, both of Yucaipa; step-daughter, Helen Gray of Columbia, MO.
Services at the Emmerson-Bartlett Yucaipa Chapel, Pastor Clifford Kirksey of the Yucaipa First Church of God officiating. Interment in Desert Lawn Park.
