She was a retired Grader for Swift Packing Company in Fort Worth, Texas after 25 years. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Chruch of Bowie and married Ray Giles on March 29, 1980 at Bridgeport, Texas.
Survivors include her husband, Ray, of Bowie; 2 daughters, Mrs. Patty Brains of Fort Worth and Mrs. Frannita Clark of Spanaway, Washington; 6 grandsons and 1 great grandchild; 4 sisters, Mrs. Emma Adams of Lake Worth, Mrs. Martha Little of Bedford, Mrs. Henrietta Compton of Las Vegas, Nevada and Mrs. Vivian Fife of Fort Worth; numerous nieces and nephews.
