She was an aunt of his mother who lived with the family. Robert's mother was Catherine Mary Adeline Mitchell, born at Poughkeepsie, NY in 1806. After Azor died, she married again to a Dr Henry Manning of Youngstown, Ohio. She died in 1862 and Henry died in 1869. There's no FAG entry for either of them at this time, and I don't know where they were buried.
