He was preceded in death by a sister, Bea Jones Herrington in 1984 and a brother, Bob Jones in 1998.
Survivors include his wife, Marylea Jones; son, Bill Blankenship; daughters, Linda Sumpter, Paula Schwark and Lynne Stonger; brother, Buck Jones; six grandchildren.
