LAVONE BURROWS
Canton - LaVone Burrows, 86, of 1928 E. Chestnut St. died at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at Largo Medical Center Hospital in Largo, Fla.
Born Jan. 11, 1917, in Deepwater, Mo., to Alonzo and Helen Huston Lindsey, she married Carl F. Burrows on Aug. 23, 1952, in Canton. He died April 28, 1981.
She also was preceded in death by one brother.
Surviving are one son, Larry (and Pamela) of Shalimar, Fla.; one daughter, Carolyn (and Joseph) Wilcoxen of Largo; one sister, Hortence Noble of Vero Beach, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
She was a member of South Park United Methodist Church in Canton.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home, where visitation will be one hour before. The Rev. Rick Atchley will officiate. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery in rural Lewistown .
Memorials may be made to her church.
