Mrs. Philip Koch, 69, died yesterday at her form home, two miles east of here, after a long illness. She had lived near here for many years. Survivors are her husband; four daughters, Mary Koch, at home; Sister Loretta Ann, Manitowoc; Mrs. John Dresen, Waunakee; Clara Koch, Madison; three sons, Fred, Milwaukee; Engelbert, Madison; Martin, at home; two brothers, Fred and Martin Riphan, Mt. Horeb. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 Friday in St. Francis Church, Cross Plains. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Capital Times, 5/24/1939
