Annie Luke is James J. Luke Daughter-In-Law. A story Annie Luke passed down to her grandchildren about him. Story: Dan's father "JJ", was not an easy man to get along with. The house they lived in was a very large house so when Dan and I first got married we moved in with him. JJ carried a heavy walking stick. To awake the whole household each morning he would sit up on the side of his bed and ram he stick on the floor, and yell to the top of his voice HELL FIRE and when he did, every person in that house would hit the floor from the youngest to the oldest. No one had to be roused a second time."
