Mary Lee Jones, 79, of Lancaster, Missouri, died Sept. 5, 2009 , in her Lancaster home.
Mrs. Jones was born Nov. 2, 1929 in Hamilton County, (Indiana), to Linzy Lee and Mary Elizabeth (Wilson) Stewart; they preceded her in death. She was married to Delbert M. Jones in Bakers Corner (indiana) on Nov. 2, 1947. He survives.
She was a devoted member of the Downing Baptist Church in Downing, Missouri. Her joy in life was being a wife mother and grandmother and spending time with her family and friends.
Other survivors include five sons; one sister; one brother; fifteen grandchildren, fifty-two great-grandchildren and many other family members and good friends.
She also was preceded in death by grandchild Melleasa Ann Jones; great-grandchildren Jeffrey Allen Jones and Talan Kristopher Willis.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Kercheval Funeral Home, 306 E. 10th St., Sheridan (Indiana), where the service will follow at 1 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. David Barton will officiate.
