Professional football player who played seven seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals and the Green Bay Packers recording nine career interceptions and eight fumble recoveries. Accoring to police reports, he was traveling on Interstate 4 in Orlando, FL, at a high rate of speed when his 1987 Chevrolet Corvette crashed into a guard rail. He was a former cornerback in the National Football League who played in Super Bowl XXIII (1989). He was involved in a number of legal issues including sexual battery and extortion in Seminole County, FL, and Lexington, KY. He was a member of Malone Memorial Church of God in Christ. He was survived by his parents, Wadie L. and Lewis K. Billups, Sr; a brother, Terry M. Lewis; three sisters; and an extended family of relatives. He was a resident of Central Florida since 1986.
