EMERSON – William E. "Boozer," 55, Johnstown, formerly of Revloc, died Sept. 18, 2012, Memorial Medical Center. Born Jan. 21, 1957, in Colver, son of David and Jane (Jenkins) Emerson. Preceded in death by mother and first wife, Pamela. Survived by father, David (Ethel) Emerson, Armagh; wife, the former Brigitte Machanick, Johnstown; children, Jennifer Emerson, Colver; and Matthew Emerson, Texas; stepson, Craig (Ashley) Yoder, Armagh; and granddaughter, Addyson. Brother of Sharon Ressler, Armagh; and John Emerson, Revloc. He was formerly employed at Bethelem Mine 33 in Ebensburg, Johnstown Steel and Gibson Thomas in Latrobe. Member of VFW and Polish Club, Nanty Glo; and American Legion, Coudersport. Bill was an avid fisherman and Steelers football fan. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 until time of funeral service at 8 p.m. Thursday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg.
