Fae's parents were Joseph William Coulthard and Luella G. "Ella" Cundy. Fae married Walter L. Bailey on August 6, 1938 in Vancouver, Clark County, WA and they had one son. Her second marriage was to Floyd George Carroll on July 1, 1950 in Kelso, Cowlitz County, WA.

Fae Carroll, 79, of Kelso, died Oct 21, 1997 at St John Medical Center.
She was born Jan 10, 1918 in Artesian, SD, to Joseph and Leulla Jane (Cundy) Coulthard and had lived in Kelso for more than 60 yeas. She was the Valedictorian of her high school class in Artesian.
Mrs. Carroll worked as a book keeper for Standard Auto Parts in Kelso for five years, Keller's Tire Shop and Store for 10 years, Polacek Brothers dealership for eight years and F & F Lawn Mower Sales and Service where she retired in 1982.
Memberships included the Longview Moose and Longview Eagles. She enjoyed canning, sewing, craft work and traveling.
She and Floyd G. Carroll were married July 1, 1950. He died in 1996.
She leaves a son, Ron Bailey of Shelton Wash.
At Mrs. Carroll's request there will be no services. Arrangements are by Dahl-McVicker Funeral Homes.
