Archer, of Jonesboro, Ga., and Mrs. Albert Davis are invited to attend the funeral of Pvt. Lewis E. Archer Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from Riverdale Baptist Church, the Rev. J. P. Stevens, the Rev. Lon Evans and Chaplain Soloman C. Couch officiating. Interment will be at King's Cemetery at Riverdale, Ga. The following gentlemen will please act as pallbearers and meet at the chapel of J. Austin Dillon Co. at 2 o'clock: Messrs. J. D. Shirling, Harry Hilley, Ray Benefield, C. M. Williams, Earl Camp and Charles Beneficed.

Rites Sunday For Pfc. Archer
Funeral services for Pfc. Lewis Edward Archer, who was killed in action, Oct. 4, 1 944, in France, will be conducted at 3 p. m. Sunday at the Riverdale Baptist Church. The Rev. J. P. Stephens and Chaplain S. C. Couch will officiate. Burial will be in Kings Cemetery in Riverdale, Pvt. Archer, who lived at 1516 Gordon St., S. W., attended Form wait Street School and Joseph E. Brown Junior High School. He entered the Infantry Feb. 10, 1943, and received the combat infantry award. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Charlene Archer; his mother, Mrs. Bessie Archer; a sister, Miss Velma Archer; his grandmother, Mrs. Albert Davis, and his grandfather, E. J. Archer, of Jonesboro.
