Graveside services will be Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at Nashville Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by Killbuck Veterans of Foreign Wars. The Rev. John Damron will officiate.
Friends may call Wednesday from 1-3 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg.
He was born July 16, 1936, in Holmes County to Donald W. and Helen A. (Smetzer) Tipton and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He had attended Nashville School and was a construction worker for many years.
Surviving are children, Rick Tipton of Shreve and Debbie McDonough of Big Prairie; three grandchildren; a brother, William J. Tipton of Big Prairie; and a sister, Carol Lint of Leesburg, Fla.
His wives, Faye Starner Tipton and Grace Tipton, and a daughter, Leisha, died previously.
