She was born July 5, 1907, in Washoe, Nev., the daughter of Bruce Albert and Vina Smith Fitzjarrold. She married Walter Albert Savaria on Nov. 16, 1926, in Twin Falls. They moved to North Star above hailey in 1936, and to Hailey in 1941. Mr. Savaria preceded her in death in 1952. She then took an adult education course from Marie Smith at the Hailey High School adn later took employment at Sprouse-Ritz adn later at J.C. Penney Store in Hailey. She was a bookkeeper and clerk. About 1954, she went to work for the Wood River Merc. as a bookkeeper and retired in 1972.
She was a member of the Baptist Church and the Mayflower Rebekah Lodge No. 41, of which she had held all offices and was a past noble grand.
