Ehren was a young man full of happiness and life, who loved to jetski, snowmobile and travel. He died on the job while working as an ironworker apprentice. He is loved and missed every day.

He is now with his Savior.

Ehren was born in 1976 in Joliet IL. When he was 2 ½ his family built a home on Goose Lake, a strip mine lake between Morris and Coal City Illinois. He attended school in Coal City and graduated from Coal City High School in 1994.

He was a loving son and was always happy and active.

Ehren was a hard worker and began working summers when he was only 13 doing detasseling in the farms around Gardner, IL. He also worked as a teen for a landscaping company. After he graduated he began working for Caterpillar, Inc and then as an Ironworker. He loved to travel and visited Hawaii shortly before his death. His job as an ironworker took his life.

24 years of age of Plainfield, formerly of Gooselake, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2001 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.

Born October 19, 1976 in Joliet, he was a son of George and Linda (Wetherholt) Brandau. He was raised and educated in Coal City, graduating from Coal City High School with the Class of 1994. After high school he was employed by Caterpillar Tractor for two years and most recently was employed as an iron worker apprentice though Iron Workers Union Local #444.

Ehren is survived by his parents; his brother, Bryan; his girlfriend, Pamela (last name removed for her privacy)of Chicago; grandmothers, Merle Wetherholt of Louisiana and Helene Brandau of Lockport; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Wetherholt and Edwin Brandau.
