Obit - Murray Ashwood Flemming of Silverwood, died Wed 28 Apr 1993 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. He was 76. Born at Millville, he was the son of the late Herman and Vena (Jones) Flemming. He lived in Bear Island for several years where he was employed as a farmer and as a highway foreman. In 1962, he moved to Silverwood where he was employed at carpenter work until his retirement. He was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church and served on several chuch committees. he is survived by his wife, Margaret (Moffat) Flemming of Silverwood; 5 daughters, 2 sons, 4 sisters, a sister-in-law, 28 grandhildren; three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant daughter Elizabeth Ann; a sister Amber Piper, and a brother, Willard Flemming. The body is resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, where visitation will be held today from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held Sat, 1 May at 2 p.m. at the Grace Memorial Baptist Church, Northumberland St, with Rev. Donald Robertson, assisted by Rev. Paul Thompson, officiating. Interment in Nackawic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be 6 of his grandsons. Donations may be made to the Grace Memorial Baptist Church.
