She was born June 8, 1916 in Clinton, Utah to Charles Edward Evans and Martha Child Evans.
She married Elmer Bambrough on February 21, 1934. He died August 17, 1986.
She married Floyd Fowers in 1991 he died in 2004.
She is survived by her three sons, Kent and Cheryl, Kelly and Margene and Roger and Judy Bambrough, all of South Weber; 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Arlene (Lyman) Freestone. Her parents and eight brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Bessie was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She held many LDS ward positions and served on the Primary and Young Women's Stake Boards. She was a temple worker.
Mother loved to dance and travel. She also enjoyed a baseball game if her sons or grandchildren were playing. Dad and mother traveled all over the world. Their favorite destination was Hawaii.
Our family wished to thank the staffs of Mountain Ridge and Legacy House and everyone at Hospice of Utah, (especially Andrea) for the special love and care they gave our mother.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2006 at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2006 and one hour prior to the services at the mortuary.
Interment at Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park.
