PORT HURON -- Martha Buckner Wright, 93, of Port Huron, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 1998 in the Evangelical Home, Port Huron, following a short illness.
She was born Nov. 1, 1904 in Forester Twp., Sanilac County and lived many years in St. Clair. She has been a Port Huron resident the past 20 years. She was a life long member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a long time member of the Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Kenneth W. (Alma B.) Yost of Port Huron; her son, Gordon H. Buckner II of San Mateo, CA.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Gordon H. Buckner and Howard M. Wright and her son, Edward Buckner.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the Port Huron Family Funeral Home, 1525 Hancock St. The Rev. Richard Lobb will officiate. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery.
Visiting hours are 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
