HARRY H. HUGHES JR., 86, of Memphis, retired Navy officer, died of complications from Alzheimer disease Friday at Allenbrooke Nursing Home. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at West Union Cemetery in Millington. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel has charge. He was a World War II veteran. Mr. Hughes, the husband of Lorene C. Hughes, also leaves a daughter, Linda Fetters Howard of Los Angeles; three sons, Harry Hughes III of Colorado, Gary Hughes of San Diego and Gary Fetters of Memphis; two sisters, Sara Pilkington of Memphis and Ann Ward of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; three brothers, Charles Hughes of Memphis, Robert Hughes of Virginia Beach, Va., and Paul Hughes of Winchester, Tenn., and four grandchildren.
