∼Elizabeth Lusk Brewer was the youngest (surviving) daughter of Salmon Lusk, one of the first settlers of Sugar Creek Township in Parke County Indiana. In 1864, Elizabeth married Jacob H. Brewer, a brother of my great grandfather, Winfield Scott Brewer. Elizabeth died in 1875 in child birth at the age of 40. After her death, Jacob married Miss Rebecca Kemp, daughter of Jesse Kemp, a former owner of Russell's Mill.
