Obituary - Dillon Bureau- February 10- Special- Mrs. Mary Baker, widow of the late John S Baker, veteran Beverhead County clerk and recorder, died at her home this morning following an illness of several months. Members of the family were at her bedside when the end came.

She had been a resident of Beaverhead County since 1896 and of Dillon since 1901. She was born at Duncans Retreat, Washington County, Utah. March 23, 1864.

Just a month before he passed away, Mr. and Mrs. John Baker celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Since his death, Mrs. Baker has made her home with her son Albert, appointed to succeed his father as clerk and recorder two years ago, and re-elected last November.

She was a member of Mizpah chapter, order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving her are her six daughters, Mrs. J. N. Cosgrove of Pocatello, Idaho, Mrs. James O. Milton, of Dillion, Mrs. Roland, of Great Falls. Mrs. Julius Kundson, of Cottonwood, Maine. Mrs. Geneva Garland, of Klamath Falls, Oregon. Mrs. Ira Franklin of Southern Oregon. Three sons, Jay of Portland, George and Albert of Dillion; 21 grandchildren, one great grandchild, two sisters, Mrs. Anna Richards of San Bernardino, California. Mrs. Amelia Slack of Toquerville, Utah. And a brother William theobald of Tocqueville, Utah.

The funeral to be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 O'Clock at the Grace Methodist Episcopal Church.

Internment will be in the Baker Family plot in Mountain View Cemetery in Dillon, Montana.
