William Ian Pierce Thomas, five week infant, died Sunday, August 30, 2009, at the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston in Atlanta. Master Thomas was born on July 26, 2009, at Newton Medical Center in Covington.
Survivors include his mother, Brandy Thomas-Davis of Monticello; brother, James Carl "Mickey" Mitchell Davis of Monticello; grandparents, Jason and Michelle Harley of Monticello and Rex Thomas of Gainesville; great- grandparents, Vince and Betty Broccolo of Macon, Carl and Evelyn White of Monticello, Mike and Cindi Calies of Monticello, Teresa Harley of Jackson, and Bud and Evelyn Thomas of Gainesville; and a number of other relatives.
A graveside service is planned Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 11 a.m. at West View Cemetery. Revs. Shon Thomas and Carol Davis officiated. Pallbearers were Rick Martin and Randy Norman.
