Lexington, TN - Fate Britt, 83, retired custodian for the Lexington High School, died Monday of heart failure at the Lexington Methodist Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Pafford Funeral Home with burial in Henderson County Memory Gardens.
He attended the Lexington Church of God.
Mr. Britt, the widower of Alice Dean Stubblefield Britt, leaves a daughter, Faye Imogene Britt Olsen of Seattle; four sons, William Clay Britt of Rienzi, Miss., Charles Edward Britt of Selmer, Fate Britt Jr. of Jackson and Tony Glynn Britt of Lexington; two sisters, Louise Young of Memphis and Nervie Myers of Lexington; a brother, Joe Britt of Lexington; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
