Dorothy Marie Corbit Brophy, age 64, passed away May 6, 1988, after a lengthy illness. Born Oct 2, 1923, Santa Maria, California to Ray Alfred and Cora May Sorenson Corbit. Married Edward Alonzo Brophy, Dec 2, 1939, Idaho Falls, Idaho. Member LDS Church. Lived in Santa Maria until nine years of age. Lived in Idaho Falls until 1950. Has lived in Salt Lake City since 1950.
Survived by: husband; sons, Edward A Jr., Green River, Wyoming; Paul D., Kaysville; Steven B., Riverside, California; Russell A., Salt Lake City; niece, Carma O'Neil, Idaho Falls, Idaho; 11 grandchildren; one brother and three sisters, Vincent Corbit and Barbara Fox, both Idaho Falls, Idaho; Grace Blackburn, Twin Falls Idaho; Beverly Corbit.
Graveside services will be held Monday, 1 P.M. Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery, 6400 South Redwood Road. Friends may call at the Russan Brothers Mortuary, 255 South 200 East, Sunday, 6-9 p.m. and Monday, 11 a.m. until 12 noon.
