Erla M. Dahlman
Erla M. Dahlman, 88, formerly of Sheboygan, died Monday evening, Oct. 18, 1999 at Rivers Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, where she resided the past two and one-half years.
She is the former Erla Paul, born Dec. 7, 1910 in the town of Meeme, daughter of the late William O. and Bertha Rades Paul.
On July 11, 1970, she married Bruno Dahlman. He preceded her in death on Nov. 13, 1989.
Erla was employed at Art Imig's Cleaners and Laundry, Sheboygan and later in her life at Lakeland Mfg., Sheboygan.
Erla had resided with her niece, Verlene Kollath of Manitowoc prior to making her residence at Rivers Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center in Manitowoc. She was a member of Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church, Newton.
Survivors include her brother, William (Jean) Paul, Madison; brother and sisters-in-law, Erna Paul, Sheboygan; Ruth Lenz, School Hill and Vernon and Meta Gromell, Plymouth. She is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her step-son, Charles Dahlman; seven sisters, two brothers, three nieces and four nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, Kiel with the Rev. Raymond C. Coombs officiating. Burial will be in Uecker Cemetery, town of Schleswig.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. Thursday until the time of services.
A memorial has been established for Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church, Newton.
