Mary Ellen Bowman, age 84 of Phoenix, AZ passed away at 9:20 P.M. on
Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at Cypress Court Care Facility in Mesa, AZ.
Mrs. Bowman was a homemaker and a member of the Rockford United Methodist Church in Seymour.
She was born July 26, 1919 in Seymour, IN to Leroy and Edith (Wilkins) Miller. She married William H. Bowman on December 31, 1955 in Jeffersonville, IN and he passed away March 15, 1999.
Survivors include one daughter: Pamela Ng of Chandler, AZ, one son: David Bauerle of Columbus, IN, one sister: Wilma Vornholt of Seymour, IN and three grandchildren Stacey Kelsey, Dawn Denny and David Bauerle II all of Columbus, IN and five great grandchildren all of Columbus, IN.
Mrs. Bowman was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers: Alfred Miller and Collin Miller, and one sister: Margie Powers.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Bowman will be Monday, June 28, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Burkholder Funeral Chapel, Seymour, with the Rev. Steve Cherry officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour. Visitation for Mrs. Bowman will be on Sunday, June 27, 2004 from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
