Services for Jonathan "Johnny" Graham George, 28, Bullard, are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Lloyd James Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Alfred Darst officiating.

Burial is at Cathedral in the Pines.

Mr. George, age 28, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2010.

Johnny was a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps and served three tours in Iraq with the 2/7 Infantry; Fox Company, Weapons Platoon.

He was a student at Del Mar College, working on his associate degree in applied emergency medical services. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Johnnie George; and grandmother, Roetta Beam.

Johnny leaves behind his loving mother, Cherri George Roemeling; stepfather, Keith Roemeling; brother, Steven Dyer; sister, Mika Dyer Townsend; niece, Olivia Via; and nephew, Dylan Via; grandfather and his wife, B.E. "Ted Graham" and Eugenia Graham; aunt, Debbie Marshall; cousins, Britt Marshall, Layton Marshall and Audra Marshall Hooks; his "Pops," Gary Cunningham; and numerous family and friends.

Pallbearers are Steven Dyer, Britt Marshall, Layton Marshall, Michael Mayes, Eric Lowe and Paul Parker.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
