She was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben "Pete" Ehn.
Survivors are: daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Jim Love of Payson, Ariz; grandchildren, Kristina Zarnke of Lester Prairie, Minn., Benjamin Haapala of Hutchinson, Minn., and Erin Haapala of Alexandria, Minn.; sisters-in-law, Hilda Warnick of Stromsburg, Rose (Harold) Kuck of Grand Island, and Dorothy Johnson of McCook; and brother-in-law Rudy Ehn of Minnesota; three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives.
Marjorie spent most of her life in the Polk area, graduating from Polk High School in 1941 and attending Business School in Grand Island. After graduating from Business School, Marjorie went to work for the Union Pacific Railroad and worked in Western Nebraska and Eastern Wyoming. Marjorie and Reuben "Pete" Ehn were married on Dec. 14, 1948, in Sidney. After their marriage, Pete and Marjorie lived and farmed just north of Polk. In 1974, they moved into Polk and Marjorie began working as a secretary for Polk Public Schools. Marjorie continued working there until her retirement in 1985.
Marjorie was a member of the Polk Evangelical Free Church, where she taught Sunday School and was active in the Women's Missionary Circle. Marjorie was also active at the Polk Senior Center. She loved playing softball, her dogs and cats, but most importantly her family.
Majorie was also preceded in death by brothers, Leonard, Virgil, Lowell and Elmer Warnick; and sisters; Dorothy Warnick and Muriel Rinterman.
