George K. Argyros, 74, of McKeesport, died Monday, April 26, 2010. He was born April 18, 1936, in Rhodes, Greece, to Kyriakos and Kyriakoula Argyros. He retired as a chef from Interstate United Food Service of Pittsburgh and was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, White Oak. He served as a Specialist 4 in the Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Vangie (Plataniotis) Argyros; son, Ken "Greek" (Tammy) Argyros, of Elizabeth Township; daughter, Maggie Argyros, of New York, N.Y.; grandchildren, Ashley, Alexis and Nicholas; also survived by a brother and a sister, in Greece, and nieces and nephews.
