Mrs. Durfey Rites Monday
Mrs. Margaret Durfey, one of Hedrick's oldest residents passed away Friday, March 5th, 1949. The funeral services were held at the Methodist church Monday afternoon at 2:00 in charge of Rev. C. B. Rayhill.
Margaret I. Sinclair was born near Hedrick on June 1, 1861. With the exception of several years residence in Missouri, her entire life was spent in and around Hedrick. On January 14, 1883 she was united in marriage to Daniel P. Durfey, and to this union were born three sons, all dying in infancy. Her husband preceded her in death on Nov. 4, 1936.
