Richard C. Corley served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was a son of Luther E. and Clora L. Bacorn.
He died at a Japanese prisoner of war camp at Mukden (now known as Shenyang), China on January 6, 1943.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army in October, 1934 at Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
He was originally from Sutton, West Virginia.
He was interred in the Gettysburg National Cemetery on Tuesday, November 4, 1947.
