Mrs. Underwood Dies In Hospital; Funeral Friday
Mrs. Ida Underwood, 70, North Center Street limits, died at 3 pm Tuesday in John Warner Hospital where she had been a patient several days.
She was born September 17, 1884, at Nicholasville, Ky., a daughter of William and Caroline Morgan, and was married at the place of her birth to Clarence L. Underwood, November 27, 1900.
Her husband, one son, one daughter, and one sister preceded her in death.
Surviving are on daughter, Mrs. George J. Smith, and one son, Cecil Underwood, both of Clinton, also two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mrs. Underwood was a member of the Clinton Methodist Church.
She is at the Herington Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 pm Friday. Rev. J.L.Longnecker, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, will be in charge. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home ater 5 pm today.
