Mrs. Evelyn (Mae) Clauson, 87, of Aurora passed away January 22, 2001 at Rush-Copley Medical Center. She was born October 10, 1913 in Braham, MN to the late Daniel and Amanda Dahlberg.
Mae was a member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, also past member of both Northern Daughters and Ladies of the Vikings.
She is survived by her four children, Evelyn Thompson of Aurora, Ronald Clauson of Houston, TX, Edwin Clauson of Aurora, Karen (Gene) Riddick of Franklin Grove, IL; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two sisters, Janet Pinks of Aurora and Ann Ulery of Malta, IL and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Clauson was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Clauson and eight brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 24, 2001 from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Healy Chapel. 332 W. Downer Pl. Aurora.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 25, 2001 at 11 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer with Rev. John M. Freidheim officiating, where she will be lying in state at the Church from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour. Interment will be at Lincoln Memorial Park.
