Major League Baseball Player. He was a right handed pitcher making his debut with the Boston Red Sox on April 26, 1912. For four seasons, he played for the Boston Red Sox 1912 to 1914, and with the Buffalo Blues in 1915. In game five of the 1912 World Series, he pitched an 18 endings win for the Red Sox over the New York Giants. He ended his career with a record of 59 wins, 53 loss, 4 shutouts, 19 saves, 420 strikeouts and a 3.08 earned run average. He died at age 75 and is a member of the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame.
