Mae (Becker) Lamb died as a result of a rupture of membranes when 7 months pregnant. She tripped over a wash tub while hanging out laundry. She was married to Woodrow Lamb at that time and they lived in Sturdivant. Billie Lynn, the infant, died a month later and is buried in the same plot at Mae's feet.
