Funeral services were held Friday afternoon for Earl Landis, 41, who moved a year ago from Clermont to Manchester. He died at his home after a brief illness. Survivors are his widow, four children, Gerald, Richard, Duane and Anita, his parents and three brothers of Manchester, and two sisters of Chicago and Manchester.

Earl Landis Dies
Earl William Landis, who with his family resided in Clermont for a short time, died at his home Wednesday in Manchester following a brief illness.
Mr. Landis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Landis, was born in Clayton County near Colesburg and lived there for 22 years. He then lived at Edgewood, Clermont, and in Delaware
County.
He was married to Dora Musgrave Gray in Manchester in 1927.
Survivors are the wife, two children, Gerald Dean and Richard Earl; two step-children, Duane and Anita Gray.
Funeral services were held at Manchester Friday, July 7.
