George N. Allen, 76, died Monday at his home in Eldon.

Mr. Allen was born on April 24, 1889 in Morgan County, the son of Wesley A. and Adeline Page Allen. He was married to Nettie Caroline Foster who died on July 5, 1945. He later married Eva Crawford who died Dec. 16, 1961.

Surviving are two sons, Milburn of Kansas City North, and Fred of Montrose, Iowa; four daughters, Lucille Byrd and Virginia Green of Eldon, Nadine Gurwell of Jefferson City and Margarite Potter of Kansas City; two sisters, Della McGraw of Kansas City and Josie Williams of Eldon; one brother, Claude, of Kansas City; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
