Opal Irene Dunn, 91, passed away Friday, April 23, 2010, in Duncan, Okla.

Opal was born March 31, 1919, in Burkburnett, Texas, to Henry James and Nettie Mae Helms. She grew up and lived much of her life in Wichita Falls. She was a seamstress. She had lived at Nocona Lake for the past 20 years with her husband Jesse until his death in March of 2008. Opal was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Perry in January of 1969; her second husband, C.L. Creek in May of 1979; and her third husband, Jesse Dunn; two sons, Stephen Creek and Larry Creek; two brothers, James Helms and Alvin Helms; and one sister, Ruth Edney.

Opal is survived by one son, Jack Perry of Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters, Carol Foreman of North Little Rock, Ark., and Linda Pewitt of Duncan, Okla.; two stepchildren, Dana Dunn of Austin, Texas, and Mark Dunn of North Little Rock, Ark.; nine grandchildren, Patricia, Chris, and Michael Perry of Jacksonville, Fla., Selena Harrington of Scotts Hill, Tenn., Missy Duncan of Jacksonville, Ark., Pam Fitzgiven of North Little Rock, Ark., Kevin Pewitt of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Kyle Pewitt of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Keith Pewitt of Duncan, Okla.; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Alta Mae Sanders of El Cajon, Calif. and Norma Louise Adamson of El Centro, Calif.
