Leslie was born Feb. 24, 1908, the son of William J. & Margaret (Soule) Wiles. He married Carrie Redding on Dec. 17, 1929 in Linden & she proceeded him in death on April 19, 1991. Mr. Wiles was a self employed Farmer & Carpenter. He attended Linden Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Linden Masonic Lodge where he was past Chaplain. Surviving are: 2 sons, Roger and wife Alice of Linden, Arnold and wife Arlene of Traverse City, 4 grandsons, 6 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Kenneth and wife Esther of Fenton, Robert and wife Theo of Byron; sister Marguerite and husband Willard Hartland of Hale; special friend, Elizabeth Mancour of Linden.
