Funeral services for Aaron Floyd Sanford, 65, of RR 4, Macomb, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Clugston Funeral Home. The Rev. Fred Norman will officiate, and burial will be in White Flock Cemetery near Colmar. Mr. Sanford died Tuesday morning at Jacksonville.

He was born March 30, 1892, to Herman L. and Virginia Ussery Sanford, in Lamoine Township. He lived in Galesburg about 30 years and was employed by the Gunther Construction Company, returning to Macomb in 1945. He served in the Army during World War I. He was a member of East Bethel Methodist Church.

In 1916 he married Jeanette Robinson of Macomb. They were later divorced. His second wife, Mrs. Florence Sanford, whom he married in 1933, resides in Galesburg. Surviving are two sons, Warren Sanford of Galesburg and M-Sgt. Leon Sanford of Fort Sheridan; a daughter. Mrs. Doris Johnson of Wilmington, Delaware, a brother, Guy Sanford of Colchester, and two sisters, Mrs. Lela Frakes of Yuma, Arizona., and Mrs. Lorena Nelson of Florida. His father and his mother, Mrs. Virginia Billington, are deceased. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Thursday. Relatives will be there from 7:00 to 9:00 Thursday evening.
