Born to Robert Gilbert Pace and Margaret Frances Murphy. Married Luta Gertrude "Trudie" Green in Lee Co GA on 7 Dec 1900. Trudie died 1915, buried in Sumter Co. GA, he remarried twice: Lida Greene, and Allie Haygood (her widowed name). 4 children all by Trudie. Cecil, Martha, Charles, Simeon II.
Interesting story is that he met Allie Haygood in Greenwood Cemetery. They were both visiting their deceased spouses.
