Obituary: North Augusta, SC….. Mrs. Gwendolyn Wilson, 77, wife of Ed Wilson, of West Arlington Heights, entered into rest Sunday, April 25, 2010 at her residence. Her graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 28, 2010 in Pineview Memorial Park with Dr. James C. Adams officiating. Mrs. Wilson was born August 1, 1932 in Hapeville, GA to the late M.L. and Zillah D. Smarr. She had been a resident of North Augusta since 1960 and a member of Grace United Methodist Church since 1961. While at Grace, she was a member of the Epworth/Croft Circle as well as the Stillwell Sunday School class. Additional survivors include two sons, Dewey E. Wilson, Jr. and his wife Michele of Clarks Hill, SC and Stephen Gregory Wilson and his wife Earlene of Marietta, GA; two sisters, Billie Coggan and her husband Frank of FL and Janice Haney and her husband John Whitney of TX and five grandchildren, Dewey Smarr Wilson, Justin Wilson, Jenna Wilson, Joshua Wilson and Jillian Wilson. The family will receive friends at Rowland Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
