GARY G. BICKEL, 79, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he worked as a truck driver with Blazer Truck Lines for six years, retiring in 1995. He is survived by his brother, Kyle (Midge) Bickel of Fort Wayne; sister, Enecya Smith of Fort Wayne; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnett K. and Fanny Bickel; and two sisters. Service is 11 a.m. Monday at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue. Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Cancers Services of Northeast Indiana.
