Find A Grave contributor Kevin Avery (#47024642) added the following: "Jonas and his wife Marie (Hanson) are mentioned as the parents of Harriet Eleanor (Carlstrom) Avery on p.1386 of the Groton Avery Clan genealogy. Harriet and her husband John were both living at the time the genealogy was being compiled, and they were direct sources to the compiler of the genealogy. Harriet's 1940 California Death Index record also gives her father's surname as Carlstrom and her mother's maiden name as Hanson. The family is shown in the 1900 census records in Chicago. The Jonas and Marie on the photo of the stone match all these records."
