Karen McKinley, 44, of Amarillo died Wednesday, March 31, 2010, in Houston.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Westover Fellowship Church with Jim Guest officiating. Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Coulter Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter St.

Karen was born Feb. 17, 1966, in Oklahoma City to Loretta Forte. She was very outgoing and had many friends.

Karen loved holidays, especially Christmas, and she loved shopping for her grandchildren. She was a hard worker and worked for Owen's for more than 17 years. She enjoyed gardening and was known for her casseroles. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by her family and the "Honeys."

She was preceded in death by her mother, Loretta Forte; a sister, Debra Hand; and two brothers, Jimmy Hand and Randy Hand.

Survivors include her "soul mate," Kenneth Hadley of Amarillo; two brothers, Johnny Hand of Amarillo and Richard Ingram of Vernon; a sister, Amber Painter of Gatesville; two sons, Bradley Harrelson and wife Jessica and William McKinley, all of Amarillo; two daughters, Nakita McKinley and Kayla Hadley, both of Amarillo; a very loving mother-in-Law, Helen Hadley; two granddaughters, "Lexi-poo" and "Pay-pay;" and many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today in the funeral home.
